I find this both creepy and cute. It has a look about it that makes me feel as though when my back is turned it would be out somewhere ...

I've always enjoyed drawing since I was little. I went to university in 2005 and studied animation where I specialised in stop-motion. I came away with a 2:1 with honours! Whilst I would like to try my hand at animation professionally, it has currently fallen into the territory of a hobby.

I give llamas as thanks!

Just thought I'd give a heads up to all of you wonderful watchers that I now have a facebook page dedicated to showing off my FIMO model creations!

Alistu-ART < click me!

Some of you may wonder why you should follow me on facebook when you will see my finished pieces here anyway. Well my answer to that is that over on my facebook page I show off W.I.P. shots of my projects as I go along as well as showing off the finished pieces. You are also more likely to see them sooner on facebook.

So if you fancy giving it a look, and hopefully a Like, then head over to Alistu-ART.

Also I am still looking for people to ask my OC, Alex, questions. So far I only have 2 and I would ideally like a minimum of 5.
You can ask your questions in my previous journal entry here.

Seeing your work has inspired me to try dabbling in a bit of sculpt-ery again. :D

Oooh really? Do make sure to share your results! Will you be using polymer clay or something else?

I'm going to attempt polymer clay again. Last time I tried it, it was some Sculpey in 2008 and I just couldn't get used to how it felt. But I've ordered myself a small block of FIMO, I'm determined to get used to working with it this time!

I've tried sculpey in the past and don't like it. It amazes me what people can create with it as I found it to be tacky and very soft which made it very difficult to work with.
FIMO on the other hand is firm and non-tacky but easy to soften up for shaping.
