I've been dreaming again. Been doing a fair amount lately but they leave my memory too soon to recall.

So in this one I was wandering around an old castle/monastery that was in need of repair but was still in use. There was a girl, the same age as me, also wandering round with me.

We were looking for a very important book that had an inscription on its cover that would allow us to overthrow the current ruler of the land or some such high ranking figure. The book was well known but had been edited to show the current ruler in a good light and so only the original showed the truth.

Eventually we found the book which in my dream was referred to as the Bible. It wasn't the Bible. Especially not since this one was made of a sort of solid strawberry blamonge. It was inserted into a stone tablet and the girl had to slowly peel it out.

On the back cover there was the inscription that we were after. It wasn't written in English, more like runes. (Could have been Simlish actually) Suddenly a large snake like creature appeared and tried to attack us. It's head and upper body were a green metal of some sort and it's lower body was a fleshy grey. My instant reaction was to take out what looked like an oversized emerald encrusted necklace and start using it like a whip. It didn't have any effect and just made a clanging noise when it struck. I assume the girl put the book back at this point.

The ruler then came in to confront us and called the snake away. He looked like Anthony Head. Maybe thats because of his role in Merlin on the BBC at the moment.

He asked the girl where the book was and she began to take him to it. I followed and as she was about to raise her arm to point to the tablet with the book, I held her arm back.

The ruler still figured out where she was trying to point to and I woke up as he pulled the book from the tablet.
